Beneath the towering entrance to Doak Campbell Stadium stands a Seminole Family. The life-size bronze figures were sculpted by Bradley Cooley and installed on their grassy pedestal shortly before Jimbo and Candi Fisher arrived to begin their new life in Tallahassee.
The sculptures depict a family moving across dangerous ground. The mother keeps her infant close. The father holds his musket at the ready as he searches the distance. His son, not much older than the Fisher's youngest son Ethan, stands nearby armed with his bow and arrow.
Seminoles of the 1830s endured terrible trials and hardships. But they drew on the strength of their families and survived to emerge triumphant.
Now, our Florida State University Seminole family stands ready to wrap our protective arms around Jimbo and Candi Fisher's son Ethan who has been diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia, a rare blood disease. There is a way you can help.

Hello Miami Seminole Club,
Another successful fiscal year is coming to a close and with that comes exciting changes. We recently held Executive Council elections and the results are the following:
2011-2012 Executive Council
President: Ben Biard
Vice President: Erick Valdes
Treasurer: Joey Cecio
Secretary: Elvis Kemp Anderson
I would like to thank everyone that expressed interest in getting involved which made for very competitive races. There are still plenty of positions that must be filled by our Executive Council so please relay any interest directly to them.
I would also like to announce that we have elected two new board members in Jorge Azor and Les Pantin. Please join me in welcoming them to the board. Both Jorge and Les bring an abundance of insight and expertise that will help continue moving the Miami Seminole Club forward.
2011-2012 Board Members:
President: Ben Biard
Treasurer: Joey Cecio
Chairman of the Booster Liaison Board: Jorge Azor
Director at Large: Les Pantin
Immediate Past President: Eric Muñoz
I would like to thank the outgoing board members for their hard work and dedication. Mike Feiler, Matt Kirkland and Frank Moreno were always willing to do what was necessary to better the MSC. Even though they will no longer be serving on the board, they will remain active so please thank them personally when you see them.
Last but not least, a special thank you to all of the current club officers. The progress we made during the past several years has been amazing and it would not have been possible without everyone's collaboration. Their contributions all had a huge part in making the MSC what it is today and what it will be going forward.
With my final term as MSC President coming to an end, I could not be more pleased on where the club stands. Our efforts in raising funds, awareness and enthusiasm for The Florida State University go unmatched. What gives me even more pleasure is the outlook for the future. With this very talented and dedicated Executive Council in place, I am 110% confident that the Miami Seminole Club is in great hands and its best years are still ahead. I look forward to seeing you all during next year's events and cheering on our Noles as we bring home several National Championships.
Thanks and Go Noles!
